IMS offers a tool that lets you recover your E-Sign-On (ESO) Username in the event that it is forgotten. To recover your ESO username:

1. Choose your preferred Indentification Criteria by clicking the either the Employee ID or Network User Name (NTID), Network Password radio button, and then entering the appropriate credentials.
2. Use the drop-down menus to select your Date of Birth.
3. Select an Authorization Method. This will be either a Challenge/Response question or a personal ID number, depending on how your IMS preferences are set.
4. Click the Choose Auth. method button.
5. Depending on the selection you made for step 3, you will have to supply either a personal ID number, or a response to your challenge question.
6. Click Authenticate.
7. Type a new password in the New UPMC E-Sign-On Password field. Type the password again in the Confirm New Password field.
8. Click Change.
9. Your UPMC E-Sign_On will be displayed.
