IMS offers a tool that lets you recover your E-Sign-On (ESO) Password in the event that it is forgotten. Rather than sending your forgotten ESO password, the recover tool lets you create a new password. To recover your ESO password:
- Type your UPMC E-Sign-On Account name in the UPMC E-Sign-On Account field and click Continue. (Your ESO ID is the ID you supply when logging into MyHub.)
- Use the drop-down menus to select your Date of Birth.
- Select an Authorization Method. This will be either a Challenge/Response question or a personal ID number, depending on how your IMS preferences are set.
- Click the Choose Auth. method button.
- Depending on the selection you made for step 3, you will have to supply either a personal ID number, or a response to your challenge question.
- Click Authenticate.
- Type a new password in the New UPMC E-Sign-On Password field. Type the password again in the Confirm New Password field.
- Click Change.
- You will receive a message confirming that your ESO password was changed.
